The Cost of Waiting

Original studio concept. Not client work.

Creative challenge

Compound interest is easy to explain and hard to feel. A table of numbers won't make anyone care about ten years.

Visual concept

Stage one sum as a race. Same $500 a month, same 7%. One person starts ten years later, and we watch what that costs.

Animation approach

Built in code with Remotion. One model drives the curves, the counters and the timing of the sound cues, so picture and math can't disagree.

Nobody commissioned this film, and it has no audience results to report. The figures are hypothetical: a constant 7% annual return, compounded monthly, with no fees, taxes or inflation. Not financial advice.

Starter Project: one animated chart or title, up to 15 seconds, from your final numbers or copy.

One format, one round of revisions, built on our existing templates. Anything larger is quoted on its scope.
ProcessFive steps, scoped in writing
  1. 01Brief

A short call or written form. You get a written scope, price and dates.

  2. 02Direction

You approve styleframes or a rough opening before full production, while changing course is still cheap.

  3. 03Production

Edit and animation. Graphics are built in code, so a changed number can re-render instead of being rebuilt.

  4. 04Review

Timestamped notes on the cut, in the revision rounds set in your scope.

  5. 05Delivery

Checked and mastered for where it will run, in the formats your scope lists.

What you get

The formats and lengths listed in your written scope, as finished video files. Project and source files only if the scope says so.

Revisions

The number of rounds is set in your scope. A round is one consolidated set of notes. New direction after sign-off is quoted separately.

Ownership

Once paid in full, you can use the finished video as agreed. Our templates and code stay ours. Third-party assets keep their own licences.
